A candle for Stormy
1978-1996
I adopted "Stormy" from an upstate NY Standardbred rescue in 1993. He was the kindest most loving equine I have known in years.
Our time was short together, but there was no doubt how much we had bonded. He would follow me around like a puppy.
He was nicknamed "Stormy" because he was originally rescued from a pasture in a winter storm with ice caked on his back.
His registered racing name "Prince Valentine", couldn't describe him better, because he was as eloquent as a "Prince" and always will remain my Sweetheart.
