RESCUE PROCEDURES

We do not have a shelter facility. All the animals in our foster care are located in private homes throughout New York and are shown by appointment only.

All animals are given a thorough veterinarian exam within 48 hours.  Any and all procedures are done as recommended by our vet to assure the health of the animal.  Our rescues are spayed/neutered, all shots updated, dental [If needed] and Heartworm tested.  We provide foster care and complete veterinarian care for special needs.

We are an approved rescue organization with The Center For Animal Care & Control ~ NYC/Manhattan, Staten Island and Brooklyn.

Our primary goal is to help those toy breeds in kill shelters, whether it be to make contact for a rescue closer to the area to take them in or to arrange to have them transported to us.

Our Board Members are all experienced animal rescuers and dedicated to this cause.

Completed application by potential adopter

Personal telephone interview and Pre-adoption home visit.

Veterinarian reference and personal reference.

Follow-up after adoption - home visit.
